When we received our Octopi Baby in the mail I was most impressed with the craftsmanship and details, like the carrying pouch and handy ring to attach it to the stroller. Rosalie grabbed for it immediately and rubbed it on her face. She loved the smooth satin and soft velvet. She likes touching the different ribbon textures and looping them through her fingers. Of course, all the different ribbons have been taste tested as well. Since we received the Octopi Baby it has been her new favorite comfort item. If I hold up her previous favorite cloth next to Octopi Baby, she reaches for Octopi Baby every time! Her previous favorite she now uses to wipe her mouth. Grandma tells me Rosalie adores holding her Octopi Baby close during the day. Last night for the first time since I returned to work, she slept alone in her room with her Octopi Baby by her side. All of us thank you for sending us the comfort she needed!

David had some trouble settling down for sleep when he was a newborn. I got the octopi as a gift but didn't think of giving it to him at bedtime until he was about 4 months old. He rested his cheek against the satiny side and it seemed to soothe him. He started falling asleep easier around that time. Since then I've always given it to him when he's settling down at naptime and bedtime. He is 10 months old now and he loves feeling all the ribbons and fun textures.

Dear Angie and Octopi Baby,

Thank you so much for making the Octopi Baby! My daughter, has loved her Octopi since she was a baby. As an infant, she loved to rub the satin side on her face and play with the ribbons. It was great to keep her occupied and help her sleep. I carried it on me for a few days so that it would smell like me (a suggestion I read somewhere) and it helped to soothe her. Now that she is older, she loves to use the Octopi Baby for her babies. She wraps her babies in them when they go to sleep. Thank you for creating such wonderful sweet memories!

I just wanted to share this morning's relief with you. Poor little Stephen was just beside himself. I don't know if he was overtired because he should have napped half an hour earlier, teething, gassy, or all of the above, but I just couldn't get him to calm down. As you can see, his new Octopi did the trick! He didn't go to sleep, but he was "octopied" for a good 10 minutes...long enough for me to catch a breath and remember he's my sweet little darling, not just a screaming wiggle worm. :o)

Dear Octopi Baby Blankets,

I am writing to let you know how much my daughter enjoys her Octopi Baby Blanket. Our bedtime routine is not complete with out it. When I hand her, her Octopi she knows it’s time to start calming down and relaxing for bed. She finds her favorite ribbon and drifts off to sleep. Thank you for the peaceful sleep!

My baby loves his Octipi! He chews on it all day and sleeps with it at night. I love its bright colors and different textures, and that it keeps his attention. Octipi's are great!
