Our Story

I am originally from Manhattan, Kansas where I lived until I graduated from Kansas State University. My husband's job in the airline industry brought us to Fort Worth, Texas where we currently reside. I am a stay-at- home mom of two very energetic boys, Liam and Rylan. The Octopi Baby Security Blanket was created to help Rylan learn to self-sooth himself to sleep. After many heart-breaking nights of trying the 'cry it out method', I made it my mission to create something that would help him make it through bed time without the anxiety and crying. His Octopi worked so well for him, my family and friends encouraged me to share my success with other parents. The Octopi Baby Security Blanket is designed to help your baby transition from play to sleep. The eight tactile ribbons help calm your baby with peaceful sensory activity. Your baby's Octopi will become their familiar and comforting friend to hold and love as they drift away into peaceful sleep.
